Butterfly Conservation Somerset & Bristol Branch AGM 2025

Doors open 10.30am

The meeting will commence promptly at 11am

 

The 2025 AGM will be held on Saturday 15th November at 11.00 am at Draycott Memorial Hall, Draycott. BS27 3UE

All branch members are welcome to attend.  Non-members are welcome to come along too.
 

AGM Agenda

1. Apologies for absence.

2. Minutes of the AGM held on Saturday 23rd November 2024. The minutes were published in The Arion, issue No 129.

3. Matters Arising.

4. Acting Chairman's Report (Peter Bright).

5. Treasurer's Report  (Nick Redman) and Adoption of Accounts.  The accounts for the year ending 31st March 2025 are in The Arion issue 131.

6. Election to the Branch Committee

     a)  Andy Danford, Fred Giles, Jen Harley, John Connolly,  & Ross Harley,  all retire on rotation (3yrs). They are all eligible to stand for re-election.

     b) Heidi Dalgarno  (Butterfly Verification Assistant) was co-opted onto the committee in October and will be standing for election.

     c) The branch committee have invited Rani Koya to take on the role of Branch Chair.

     d) Any member may propose another for election to the Committee at the AGM, provided that the proposal is received by  the Secretary (Alison Uren) in writing by 8th November  Email:  Secretary@somersetbutterflies.org.uk

7. Date of next Meeting.  Spring Members' meeting - Saturday 7th March 2026 at Draycott Memorial Hall

8. Next AGM will be on Saturday 7th November 2026

 

 

The Autumn Members' meeting will follow on directly after the AGM
