You're invited to join us for a day of gorse and scrub clearance on Haddon Moor BC Reserve with a bonfire to burn the arisings.
Meet: Haddon Moor BC Reserve
Bring: Packed lunch & warm drink, thick gloves. Loppers and/or bow saw if you have them (but we can supply some tools on the day if you don’t have them)
Wear: Sturdy shoes or boots, and bring rain gear in case.

Mount Fancy Reserve, Blackdown Hills
The 'Fancy Volunteers' is a group of volunteers that meet once a month (second Tuesday of the month) to carry our practical tasks at the Reserve.
You will use simple handtools to carry out a variety of tasks, dependant on the season and conditions.

Guided butterfly walks
June to September
Each year, we have a range of guided walks across Somerset & Bristol to enable Butterfly Conservation members to see a wide variety of butterflies
The Guided walks for 2025 have now finished. Thank you to the walk-leaders and all those that attended.
Non-members are welcome on the walks.
If any of our members or transect walkers would like to lead a walk in 2026, please contact Alison (our secretary) to discuss.
