The 'Fancy Volunteers' is a group of volunteers that meet once a month (second Tuesday of the month) to carry our practical tasks at the Reserve.
You will use simple handtools to carry out a variety of tasks, dependant on the season and conditions.
To find out how you can get involved, please visit the Fancy Volunteers blog page (button below) or contact Tony or Anna Spiess (Honorary Reserve Wardens).
Please see the 'Fancy Volunteers' blog page for details of the meeting place and tasks for each month.

Each year, we have a range of guided walks across Somerset & Bristol to enable Butterfly Conservation members to see a wide variety of butterflies
Details of the 2024 walks will be published in the spring edition (April 2024) of Arion.
The walks will also be added to our branch page of the Butterfly Conservation website (Events) which has more information regarding parking and facilities as well as links to Google maps.
Please see the website, Facebook or X (Twitter) for any late changes or cancellations (or contact the walk leader)
