Transect Reports
Thank you to all our volunteer Transect Walkers who help to monitor the butterflies at pre-selected sites in Somerset & Bristol between April and September each year.
Reports for the traditional Transects (Pollard Walks) will soon be available to download from this page (currently only the 2020 edition is available)
2021 (Edition 24)
79 sites in the Branch area were monitored in 2021 - the highest number so far.
2020 (Edition 23)
Due to Covid-19 restrictions in Spring/Summer 2020, only 61 sites were monitored in our branch area.
2019 (Edition 22)
Seventy-seven sites in the Branch area were walked and monitored in 2019.
